واشنطن - بترا - اكد وزير الدفاع الأميركي تشاك هيجل اليوم الاثنين ان الغارات الجوية أبدت فاعلية وأدت الى وقف تقدم مسلحي تنظيم داعش المتشدد في العراق مشيرا الى ان بلاده منفتحة لطلبات مساعدة إضافية.
ونقلت مصادر اعلامية عن هيغل في اطار محادثات الدفاع السنوية الأميركية الاسترالية في سيدنى اليوم ان واشنطن تقيم الوضع باستمرار بعد إجازة الرئيس باراك اوباما للتحرك للمساعدة على فك الحصار عن جبل سنجار حيث علق آلاف النازحين المدنيين من الأقلية الايزيدية.
و شنت الولايات المتحدة لمدة ثلاثة ايام غارات بطائرات مقاتلة ودون طيار في شمال العراق على مواقع للجهاديين الذي ادى هجومهم العنيف الى نزوح 200 الف شخص منذ 3 آب، من بينهم مجمل سكان قره قوش اكبر مدينة مسيحية في العراق.
